Stephen Thomas Wallace

 Age 72, passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Son of Sherman and Elizabeth Wallace, he was born in Minneapolis and was raised in Edina, Minn. graduating from Edina High School in 1966.  A Bloomington resident for more than 30 years, he is survived by his life partner, wife and best friend, Luanne Lind; daughter Cari Ann Weber (Cy), stepdaughter Tonya Beck (Scott), stepson Erik Lind (Nichole), grandchildren Holden and Ashlynn Weber; step-grandchildren, Kennedy, Peyton and Christian Beck, Abby, Zack and Alex Lind; brothers Ronald, Dennis (Liz) and Gary (Debbie), as well as many loved nieces, nephews and friends.  Stephen was a retired Real Estate professional and former Country Club Markets employee.  He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, infectious smile, love of cooking, entertaining, gardening and the outdoors. His passions also included golf and he was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan.  Many people benefitted from his handyman skills and his willingness to help with many projects.  Steve had a magnetic personality that drew friends together.  A service will be held January 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina, 6909 Normandale Road.
