Obituary of Michael James Morris

Morris, Michael James Age 66, of Edina passed away 1/5/2021.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Constance Strei and daughters Kathryn (Matthew) Lounsbury of Edina and Rachel Morris of Minneapolis.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Elizabeth (Cowette) Morris, brother Daniel Morris, sister Barbara Mazoko, and nephew Paul Mazoko.

He grew up in Minneapolis, graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's Degree in English, and received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota - Duluth. He worked in market research, analyzing data in multiple industries throughout his career. He retired in May 2020 from nVent.

Mike loved Grand Marais, MN and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, beginning with his work as a camp counselor in his 20's and visiting yearly since. He collected antique postcards of old cars and sold many on eBay. He liked learning about history. He thoroughly enjoyed driving his Porsche Cayman, the dream car he purchased in 2018.

We remember and cherish Mike as our gentle, funny, and loving husband, father, and friend. We will miss him terribly but rejoice to know that he is now home with Jesus.
