Obituary of Randy Wayne Thompson

Randy W. Thompson, age 69, of Brooklyn Park, passed away on December 31, 2020, at his home. Randy Wayne was born on April 2, 1951, to Clarence and Virginia (Charbonneau) Thompson, in Minneapolis, MN. Randy was employed at CONWED Plastics, in Minneapolis, for 40 years, and was a member of the United Steelworkers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coin collecting, going to the casino, and his kitty, “Pucky”. He also enjoyed playing cribbage with the guys at the Osseo American Legion.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; stepfather, Robert Gjerdahl; and three brothers, Terry, Jim, and Ricky Thompson. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Carol Thompson of Big Lake; nephew, Scott (Jennie) Thompson of Zimmerman; niece, Michelle (Steven Koep) Thompson of Becker; nephew, Jason Thompson of Blaine; great-nephews, Cody (Emma Kotila) Thompson of Princeton, Nathan Thompson of Zimmerman, Drake Hegge of Becker, and Mason Koep of Becker.

Randy’s family is forever grateful for those of you who were a special part of his life.
