Obituary of Phyllis Redmond

Phyllis Anne Redmond (Andersen) passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 12, 2020. After losing her husband Robert Redmond of nearly 60 years in 2017, Phyllis spent the last 3 years at English Rose care home in Edina due to Alzheimer's disease.

Phyllis was a retired MPS school secretary which fit her penchant for organization & structure that was greatly admired. Phyllis had a label for everything!

Phyllis lived for holiday decorating, had a knack for interior design & she was a collector known for her beloved frog room. Phyllis retired early in her 50's so she was able to enjoy her leisure time & her pension to the fullest.

Phyllis and Bob had a great social life & really rocked it in the 1960's & 70's. Both were bold dressers unafraid to express their individual styles. Phyllis had a 70's wig collection so her hair looked perfect.

Although Phyllis spent more than a decade with Alzheimer's, she was able to still enjoy herself and she was well loved by the staff at English Rose who we thank for care of her. Phyllis maintained her sense of humor & was easy going.

Phyllis is survived by daughters Susan Redmond and Nancy Malone, grandson Rob Malone & his wife Audrey & great granddaughter Mara.
