Mom-I miss and love you so much. I want to thank you for what you had taught me during your life. To love, share and give-even when you went without. Hope, strength and determination; never giving up on anyone or yourself-despite getting the short end of the stick for the majority of your life. A smile, laugh or a joke-even though pain wreaked havoc on your body. A good work ethic and volunteering-because it is the right thing to do. Frugality, gardening, canning, cooking, music and "the simple things in life" are some of the things I carry with me today thanks to you. I want to thank you for all of your prayers through my growing up years-and during my "lost angry years" after your accident. God only knows how many candles you lit and how many hours you spent on your knees in prayer-for the whole family. It's no wonder why both knees were bad. Your faith was there as you assured me "It will be all right, it will be all right". Yes Mom-it will be all right. I thank God he gave me you as my mother.
Love you Mom
