Peterson, Lucille Fletcher Minneapolis 4/23/23- 5/8/20 Died naturally at 97. Preceded by husband, Harvey; son, Glen; parents William & Mary Fletcher; brother, Jim; sisters, Dorothy Hopster, Francis Kiel. Survived by daughter, Susan; sons, Jim (Paula), Dale (Ginny), Wayne (Gina), 11 grand-children, 4 great grandchildren & special friend, Elmer Hynes. Graduate Roosevelt HS class of 41. Worked/volunteered at Sheltering Arms & Courage Center with special needs children. Lucille, an incredible loving woman, who always put others before herself and inspired others with generosity, good humor, hard work and good advice. Her many interests and activities were golf, swimming, bowling, & loved a good time. A devout catholic, attending St. Helena, St. Alberts, St. Alphonsus, St. Hedwig, St. Clements. Memorial contributions can be sent to: Catholic Elder Care, 817 NE Main St., Mpls 55413 where the staff treated her with love and compassion holding her hand as she passed in peace. Private mass at Holy Family 5/21/2020 at 930 am live streamed at hfcmn.org. Internment at Mound Cemetery.
