Obituary of Glen George Miner, Jr.

MINER, Glen G., Jr., age 79, of Brooklyn Park, MN passed away on September 24, 2018.  Retired 22 year veteran of U.S. Navy (14 years) and U.S. Army Reserves (8 years).  Glen was also retired from Minneapolis School District after 24 years of service. Past Master of Compass Lodge No. 265; Past Patron of Order of Eastern Star No. 238; and member of Zuhrah Shrine.  Glen is preceded in death by parents, Glen G. and Mary.  He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Carol; daughters, Dawn (John) Fitzer, Dora (Keith) Grimm, Carrie (Shawn) Peterson; son, Christopher (Michelle); six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Gary (Lois), and James (Sue); sister, Janet (Ross) Mickelsen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends.  Masonic and Easter Star Services 7PM Wed. October 3 at the Robbinsdale Compass Lodge, 4228 West Broadway, Robbinsdale.  Funeral Service 11AM Thursday, October 4th at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7217 West Broadway, Brooklyn Park with visitation 1 hr before.  Interment 2pm Friday, October 5 at MN Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, with honors.  Memorials preferred to: WGA 4 Kids to Shriners Hospitals for Children-TC,
