Obituary of Glenda S. Elder

Glenda S. Elder went to be with the angels Dec. 16, 2014 at Essentia Health surrounded by her loving family. Glenda was born to Albert and Margaret Ragsdale on July 6, 1946 in Carnegie, Okla. Glenda married her husband David Elder in Reno, Nev., on Jan. 30, 1970. They moved back to Duluth in 1970 and raised three great children. Glenda's greatest love was her family and friends. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Dorce Blake and her loving big sister Betty. Glenda is survived by her husband David; her three children Debra Elder, Coleta (Lee) Parenteau, Richard (Catherine) Elder; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Glenda is also survived by two brothers, Therman (Candee) Ragsdale, Michael (Shelly) Ragsdale and a sister; brother-in-law Dennis (Phyllis) Elder; sister-in-law Debra Geissler and many nieces and nephews. The family will have a private gathering. She will be missed but will make heaven a better place.
