Janet and I lived 2 floors apart. We quickly discovered that we were both Janet’s although others called us Jan. We got to know each other by walking at the Mall of America. One of us would text each other the days of our availability-which pretty much was every day. Walkie-Talkie were our words for these times and this was our thing. These walks were precious as we learned more and more of each other. At times it extended to Southdale or IKEA for variety! We seldom were shopping. We learned that we both loved live theatre and went to numerous plays at several venues. These times of walkie-talkie and theater were precious to me and I’ll hold these times in my heart forever.
