Michael Henry Danger passed away peacefully on May 06, 2018 at his home on Placid Lake after a brief battle with liver cancer. Mike was born on March 19, 1943 to Doris (Fitzpatrick) and Henry Danger. He was a 1961 graduate of Crosby-Ironton High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Bemidji State University and a Master of Science degree from St. Cloud State University. He married Jan (Olson) Danger on February 13, 1965. He taught elementary education for 32 years for the St. Cloud School District. He loved teaching and he touched many lives in a positive way. He enjoyed 18 years of retirement, summering on Placid Lake and wintering in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He spent a lot of time trying to improve his golf game, fishing and reading. He will be missed for his jokes, especially the Ole and Lena jokes. He is survived by his loving wife, Jan; his 2 sons, Erik Michael (Mallory) and Jonathan David (Liz) and a 3rd unofficially adopted son, Scott (Claire) Ingram. He took great pride in watching these boys grow into fine young men. He is also survived by his sister, Mary (Dave) Edgett; brother, Dave (Wendy) Danger and 9 beautiful, healthy grandchildren: Luke, Devon, Sam, Sydney, Jack, Meghan, Cole, Jackson and Emmit and a life-long friend, Mike (Cindy) Runde. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Henry; infant twin brothers; a beloved Aunt and Uncle, June and Vince Fjerstad and another beloved Aunt May and Uncle Jack Fitzpatrick. A memorial service for Mike will be held at his home July 1 at 11:00 a.m. The Color Guard, of which he was very proud to be a member, will honor him. The services will be followed by a meal at the Deerwood Legion, of which he was also proud to be a member. All friends and family are welcome to attend. All memorials will be divided between Salem Lutheran Church Social Ministry and Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Lake Havasu City, AZ.
